Have finally finished the first round of editing for the new Mike Malone. Now to go through it at least another twice before the book is ready to go out for sale. I love writing, I just hate this bit, especially when I am ready to start a new book – ideas are bubbling away.
I now have 17 teaching days left as a teacher – then a whole new chapter in my life. I will be sorry to leave the job, redundancy was not how I wanted to end my days, but I will be ready to get away from a profession that governments are always interfering with. Why can’t governments just let teachers teach? Everyone would be so much happier.

Many thanks, Susan. Actually, I am quite looking forward to a bit of me time – work/life balance as a teacher is not good. Also more time to write.
