Dark and disturbing and lots of gore. I quite like gore, but there was a little too much for me to really give it a 5 star, some of it was just too much, if you know what I mean. A crime thriller where detective seeks serial killer and the victims are women – aren’t they always? However, I quite liked Detective Jack – he’s attractive and quite sexy with a lot of baggage, of course.
It was a good read, the story is gripping and the murders macabre. For me, there was just a little too much detail in places. But the ending!!! Edge of the seat stuff. I had to stay up to finish it.
